Your wedding can be one of the most special occasions in your lifetime. The North Point Lighthouse offers a one-of-a-kind experience for your wedding engagement, ceremony, reception, and rehearsal dinner for the person who desires a personal and intimate setting. Not only will your event be held in a historic setting, but you will also become a part of its history. A myriad of metaphors serves a couple well at the start of their life journey together: the longevity of the lighthouse; its bright beam guiding ships on their past journeys; and the dedication of its keepers to maintain the light shining on the horizon to those that seek it.
Our experienced event planners come along as part of the package in creating your own unique event. We have assisted in everything from a romantic wedding proposal in the tower or on our steps; a four-person ceremony in the tower lens room; to a wedding picnic, formal ceremony on the bluff or by the Victorian Kitchen Garden, to a reception for 175 on our terrace. Each wedding is tailored to the bridal couple’s personalities.
We have also helped create events to fit almost every life occasion: (surprise!) birthday parties to anniversaries and renewals of vows, graduations, celebrations of life, in every format from a casual picnic to intimate formal sit-down dinners. We can assist with providing a selection of trusted vendors and suggestions with choices that are relevant to you. Because we are selective in the types and numbers of events that are held here, each rental request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
