Carl Baehr – Milwaukee Street names and their origins. Carl Baehr, a Milwaukee native, is the author of Milwaukee Streets: The Stories Behind their Names, and writes the City Streets column for Urban Milwaukee. He has written articles on other local history topics and has done extensive research for his upcoming book, Dreams and Disasters: A History of the Irish in Milwaukee.
